Q: What image formats do you accept?

A: We are able to work with .bmp, .jpg, and .png files. We may be able to work with your selected type if not listed.  Contact us via email if you have specific requirements.

Q: Can  I send you my photos and you scan them for me?

A: Our preferred method of working is with digital images.  However, we can accept photographs but we stress that postage is at your own risk.  We recommend you should send any media by registered post. We will return images by registered post, although we will need to pass on postage charges to you. We will supply you with our postal address on request.

Q: How long does it take to restore an image?

A: This depends entirely on the complexity of the image.  Generally speaking, the more subjects or people there are in the image, the longer the lead time.  We aim to complete simple images in two hours, but this is also subject to current workload and we operate on a first-come, first-served basis.

Q: Could you visit me to collect/scan my photos?

A: We may be able to visit you to collect or scan your photos at home if you live within a twenty mile radius of Lincoln, and you are expecting us to restore several photos.  We will not, however, begin editing at your property.   Contact us to discuss this via email.

Q: Do you accept slides or negatives?

A: We currently only work with photographs and digital images, although we may soon be able to process these types of media.  Watch this space.

Q: How do I pay?

A: We accept PayPal and credit/debit cards via our Online Store.  For multiple images and services, contact us via phone, email or chat for a quote.

Q: When colourising, can I specify colours for hair, eyes, or other details?

A: Certainly.  We would appreciate your input! We will otherwise select colours for you.  If an image is not coloured to your satisfaction we are usually able to modify it further.

Q: What if you determine that an image is too badly damaged to be restored?

A: We will not expect payment under these rare circumstances.  We will inform you as soon as we are aware that the photo is unrecoverable.
